1993 introduction from Hooker Nichols; 36 inches; mid to late season bloom; ruffled & laced violet & white amoena; orange & white beard; John C Wister Medal in 1999. Has been a consistent, reliable bloomer for me, despite considerable neglect and crabgrass.
